A spacious bathroom, part of a four-room flat on the sixth floor of a residential building in the city of Sofia, which was initially with gypsum plaster and cement screed according to the Bulgarian State Standard. The niches are the accent of this bathroom. The project assignment was water and sewerage installation, electrical installation, suspended ceiling of impregnated plasterboard, moisture-proof putty and paint, hydro-insulation on the floor and shower area walls, laying tiles with joints of 1 mm and bathroom furniture. For the external angles of the wall tiles we used Gerung or 45 degrees with no tile trim.
The niches of this bathroom were challenging and gave the name of the project – ROCK SHELVES. For the niches we used plasterboard on a metal structure according to the Knauf system; inside we built an internal assembly profile with a “led line”, then finished with gres tiles using Gerung external angle or 45 degrees with no tile trim.
